Jiuyou: Scroll of the Netherworld — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026 · Developer: zhe guan
We do not collect any personal data. The game has no accounts of its own. It contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking, and it does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or data from other apps. There are no in-app purchases.
The mobile version (iPhone / iPad) has no network features at all. Your progress (meta progression, the run in progress, settings) is stored only in the game's storage on your device and is never uploaded to us or to any third party. Deleting the game deletes these files. Your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup) may include them, as determined by the operating system and your backup settings; we have no access to them.
Desktop (Steam) version. The game itself does not connect to any server. Through the Steam client it uses these Steam features:
Steam Achievements: Steam records the achievements you unlock.
Steam Cloud: when enabled, Steam synchronizes your progress saves to Valve's servers so you can continue on other computers; settings are not synchronized. You can turn it off in the Steam client.
Steam Leaderboards: when you finish a Daily Arena run, your score is uploaded to the game's Steam leaderboard, where other players can see your Steam display name and score.
This data is handled by Valve and is subject to the Steam Privacy Policy.
Children. The game does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes. If the game ever adds online features or any kind of data collection, we will update this policy first and disclose it on the store page.
